The Aitoneva nature trail presents the flora and fauna of the mires and forests on an old peat production field that is regenerating to a mire. The impact of peat production is still visible in the terrain as large marshy pools and peat ridges bordering them. However, vegetation has covered the traces of work, and the landscape has slowly reverted to a new mosaic of mire and forest. Along the trail, there is an old peat production machine, the drag bucket, as a sight. The trail follows dry peat ridges, with boardwalks over wet sections.
The trail is maintained by Neova Oy. The route is marked in the terrain with signposts. Guidance is complemented by a GPX track available on Outdooractive.
After the guide board complex at the beginning of the trail, continue along the path heading left. The route meanders along old peat production fields. After 500 m, there is a resting area on the trail with a table-bench combination, a guestbook, and a small viewing platform. The route continues forward, and after about 200 m you arrive at the drag bucket.
After exploring the drag bucket, the route meanders along old peat production fields and pools until, after about 500 m, it returns to the starting point.
