Arts Route - From Kammi to Skantzi
The Arts Route is a tourist road located in the areas of Kauhajoki and Karvia municipalities. The route length from Kammikylä to Culture Center Skantzi is about 37 kilometers. The route can also be traveled in the opposite direction, or you can visit individual sites. By bicycle, you can return from the route's endpoint back to Nummijärvi, for example, via Kyrönkangas museum road through Kauhaneva-Pohjankangas National Park.
The route is digitally guided with a GPX track found in Outdoor Active content.
Along the Arts Route, there are five wonderful destinations: Kammikylä and Alpon Savanni, Anne's art café, Karvia church and outdoor museum area, and Culture Center Skantzi.

Plan your trip
The route begins with an exploration of Kammikylä. A path from the Kammikylä parking lot leads to the Kammikylä gate. The site is suitable for self-guided visits. You can leave your bike at the gate.
Continuing from Kammikylä, turn right and continue along Jokelantie for about 300 m, then turn right at the intersection. Continue on Nummijärventie for about 1.9 km and turn right onto Sarantie. Continue on Sarantie for about 6.7 km, then turn left to Alpon Savanni.
After Alpon Savanni, return to Sarantie, turn left and continue for 800 m. You will reach the municipal border, after which the road name changes to Koivukyläntie. Continue for 1.8 km and turn right. Continue on Sarapohjantie for about 12 km until Anne's art café is on the right side of the road.
After visiting Anne's art café, return to Sarapohjantie, turn right, continue 1.8 km to Sarvela, the Käntymä village shop.
In Sarvela, switch to the pedestrian and bicycle path and continue towards the center of Karvia. After about one kilometer, the path shifts to the left side of the road. Continue until you reach the municipal center. The road name changes to Kylä-Karvia road.
Continue on the pedestrian and bicycle path through the central area. The church and local history museum are visible on the left side of the road.
After the church, continue on the path heading south. After leaving the urban area, continue for about 6 km. Switch from the pedestrian path to Karviantie, and after about one kilometer, you'll arrive at the destination, Culture Center Skantzi, which is on the right side of the road.
No public transport.
By roadFrom the direction of Kauhajoki to Nummijärvi, continue on road 44, but do not turn towards Kankaanpää; instead, continue straight on road 6700 to Nummijärvi. Drive through the village of Nummijärvi and follow the signs to Kammikylä.
From the south on road 44, drive to Kauhajärvi, turn right onto Kiviluomantie, continue about 5 km and turn right onto Kivijärventie, after about 6 km turn right onto Nummilahdentie and continue about 2 km, then turn left and after about 1.6 km turn right and follow the signs to Kammikylä.
Arriving from the north on road 3, turn right in Jalasjärvi about 1.7 km after Juustoportti towards Karvia, continue 16 km and turn right towards Nummijärvi. After about 9 km, turn left towards the village of Nummijärvi where signs to Kammikylä are.
Arriving from the south on road 3, turn left from Parkano towards Karvia. In Karvia, turn right and drive through the church village. About 3 km later, turn left at the intersection towards Kauhajoki and continue about 20 km, then follow signs to the right towards Kammikylä.
