Jämijärvi tour

Drive through the center of Jämijärvi on the pedestrian/cycle lane to the Jämi junction. Turn left and continue on the paved road towards Ikaalinen. After about 6 km, turn right onto Pitkäniementie. Continue on the gravel road for about 5 km and turn right onto Mielahdentie.

Continue on Mielahdentie for about 2 km, at which point there are  road signs to the right to Uhrilähde spring. After visiting the springs, continue towards Jämijärvi for about 1.5 km. At the intersection of Jämi, permanent paving begins again; to the left it is possible to deviate from Jämi tourist center, the route continues straight. About 3.5 km away the route turns left onto Vihuntie; by continuing directly it is possible to halve the route and return to the starting point in the center of Jämijärvi.

Continue on Vihuntie for about 7 km and then turn right onto Palokoskentie in Vihu village. Continue on the gravel road for about 5.5 km. Arrive at Palokoski, where you turn left towards Jämijärvi. Continue for 6 km along Jämintie until you reach the starting point of the route.

From Satakunta and Suupohja directions, follow the signs to Kankaanpää and from there take road 23 to Niinisalo and follow the signs to Jämijärvi.

Free parking in the lower parking area of the Jämijärvi library, Jämijärventie 19, at the library end of the parking area.
