The route is a 3 km circular route and the sections crossing the bog are boardwalked. An accessible footbridge has been built for the section following the medieval Kyrönkangas road. Along the route there are two piers, a campfire site and at the end of a short side path another campfire site and a lookout tower. The campfire sites have wells where you can get drinking water. Camping is allowed at the Salomaa campfire site.
The route is part of the top routes of the Lauhanvuori-Hämeenkangas UNESCO Global Geopark.
