Neva-Lyly is a small lake in Karvia, near the border of Parkano. Around the lake runs a boardwalk route, along which you will find pristine mire scenery, a former peat production area converted into a bird wetland, ridge landscape, and rocky shores.
At the start and end point of the route, near the Neva-Lyly lean-to shelter, there is a beach, campfire site, sauna, kota shelter, and dry toilet. The route and its facilities are maintained by the municipality of Karvia.
Head north from the lean-to shelter along the trail through the pine forest. About 100 m later, you will pass Wilpert's sling barn and soon the boardwalk begins. About 300 m ahead is the trail guestbook and a trail junction. The side trail to the right takes you to the edge of an old peat production area transformed into a bird wetland and nature reserve, where there is a good spot to observe waterfowl and wetland life.
After the side trail, the route continues following the shore of Neva-Lyly. There are several resting places along the trail. After about 850 meters, the path reaches the ridge terrain and the last part back to the starting point follows the road.
