The route starts from Pyhäniemi Tourist Center. From the car park, head towards the highway and turn right onto a roadside track. Continue along the trail, following the signs for about 1.8 km, until you reach a field road. After a short section of field field (approx. 300 m) you will reach the Myllyjoki bridge.

From the Myllyjoki bridge, continue for about 100 m to Myllyjoentie, turn left and immediately right following the signs for the outdoor route. Follow the forest section for about 650 m until you reach Pyhäniementie. Turn right, and after about 50 m turn left, and continue on the terrain for about 1.4 km until you reach Teollisuustie. Turn left and continue for about 400 m to the next junction where you turn left.

Continue on the road for about 900 m until you return to the right-hand side of the road. Continue for about 3 km until you reach the Annalanvuori lean-to shelter, where you can take a break.

From the Annalanvuori shelter, continue downhill, cross the road about 300 m away and continue on the forest section. About 1.2 km away you will reach Ratikyläntie, turn left and about 150 m turn right onto Ojajärvetie. Continue for about 1.1 km until you turn left onto the terrain track. After about 600 m you will come to Erämaja, where there is a shelter suitable for a break in the yard.

From Erämaja, continue along the terrain route for about 500 m to Valkamankorpi, where you turn right at the crossroads. Continue for about 600 m until you reach Palolahdentie. After crossing the road, continue along the road following the road for about 700 m and then switch to the road. After about 100 m, turn right at the junction and pass a farmstead, turning slightly left. After about 400 m turn right. Follow the well-surfaced section of forest road, which is about 2 km long and ends at the bend of the Matoviita road. The bend continues directly along the trail floor and route signs are followed. About 3 km away is the Toivonen lean-to shelter, which is a good break.

Continue from the Toivonen shelter following the route. About 1.8 km away, the route meets the forest road, Pystykoskentie, which follows about 400 m to the Käskyvuori car park. From the parking area there are signs to Käskyvuori, which is about 500 m from the parking area.
