Ajatus artwork in Kankaanpää

The "Ajatus" work by Kari Tykkyläinen from 1992.

The artwork’s name Ajatus can be translated to Thought. The large sail-like shape is joined by a sculptural stair blank. The separate white concrete stones located on entrance square are a reference to ancient court stones. In the surroundings of the modern building, a person can face his history at the level of images through the artwork.

The state art commission ordered the artwork from Kari Tykkyläinen. Tykkyläinen is also known for over 3000 humoristic videos that he has released on YouTube under the name tykylevits. The videos have tens of millions of views combined.
