On a cycling trip on Kyrönkankaantie road

Kyrönkankantie is a medieval road, cycling route and museum road. The section that is best preserved runs between Kantti village in Karvia and Nummijärvi village in Kauhajoki. The route goes through the Kauhaneva-Pohjankangas National Park.

Can we offer you a glass of geopark sahti?

The Lauhanvuori – Hämeenkangas Geopark area is one of the few regions in Finland with a living sahti tradition. Sahti is one of the few Finnish foodstuffs that has been granted the EU Authentic Traditional Product status.

How to get there

Geopark is located close to the largest cities in Western Finland. It is easy to reach Geopark by train, for example, through Parkano railway station, from which you can continue your trip in a rental car or on a bike.
