The name ”Istuinkivet” can be translated as sitting stones.

The artist has held many solo exhibitions in Iceland and abroad and participated in numerous group exhibitions. The works are mainly based on textile-related installations and sculptures.

The stones invite you to sit and meditate at the “Stone Symposium”. The stones are carved with subtly ancient stylized figure sets.
