Kaisa artwork in Kankaanpää

The artwork’s name Kaisa is a finnish name and doesn’t have a translation. The sculpture is an exercise sculpture of a live model, that the artist cast into fiberglass. The “myssytys” (putting a on beanie) of Kaisa has become a tradition. Every year on the 25th of November, the name day of Kaisa, a choir comes to the front of Postelli to sing the myssytys song of Kaisa, made by Eeva Kulhua, and the naked Kaisa gets a new beanie for the cold weathers of winter.
