Karvia Church

The residents of Karvia got a permission to build a chapel, but the villagers decided to build a church. It was completed in the 18th century. Salomon Köhlström-Köykkä was responsible for the construction. The belfry dates back to 1806 and was built by Simon Juvel. In the enlargement in 1837 the church took the form of a cross. The altarpiece was painted by Carl Gabriel Diederichs.
