Kukkiva Maa artwork in Kankaanpää

The name ”Kukkiva Maa” can be translated as flowering land.
The planning of the environmental art project started already in the autumn of 2017 in cooperation with the Center School. The main theme of Kukkiva Maa is the historical combination of white porcelain and blue cobalt. The art tiles are designed specifically for this work and are in themselves impressive ceramic elements. The intact walls of the transformer box have flower patterns hand-painted on large tiles by Heini Riitahuhta.
