Maaemon viesti artwork in Kankaanpää

The name ”Maaemon viesti” can be translated as the message of the Mother Earth.

"In my outdoor and public works, the main focus is on solar, wind and water subjects, which also serve as sources of light and power for my works. For the past few years, I have been working on outdoor sculptures whose important elements have been the sun, wind and water. I have wanted to emphasize these renewable resources of nature so that we can realize to their relevance and potential, for example, in solving climate problems.

Also, I want to use my sculptures to show that artists have a word in landscape and environmental issues. ” -Antti Maasalo
