The work is a steel net bent in the shape of a snake and filled with boulders.
The work was developed for the working group's 20th anniversary exhibition in 1999, in which the meandering form was shown seen from above. The artists have been working as a working group since the late 1970s. The rare collaboration has produced many works, e.g. Lapua Raivaaja monument and Oulu Maritime Monument.
The work was originally completed in Helsinki's Töölönlahti beachpark in 2000, when Helsinki was the European Capital of Culture. The work was moved to Kankaanpää in 2020.
