Rukous artwork in Kankaanpää
The "Rukous" from 1995 by Soli (Pia Hyyppönen). The artwork’s name Rukous can be translated to Prayer.
“The stone woman was born from the world’s oldest bedrock and withstands the passage of time and weathering of herself.” –Pia Hyppönen
Soli’s “Prayer” found an insightful place on a narrow patch of grass. The rainwater path made of cobblestones leads straight from the front of the sculpture to under the downspout.
