Viinitila Meggala – Refreshing Hunaja Humina GEOfood Honey-Apple Cider

Heikki and Sofia Latvajärvi opened the wine shop at Viinitila Meggala in 2020. Sharing a love of good wine, food and celebrations, they studied winemaking and the production of alcoholic beverages. Today, their passion for professional winemaking, combined with Finland’s flavourful and pure fruits and berries, results in high-quality, aromatic and delicious beverages produced in the heart of Lauhanvuori–Hämeenkangas Geopark, in the village of Venesjärvi in Kankaanpää.

Refreshing Hunaja Humina Honey-Apple Cider

Handcrafted Hunaja Humina honey-apple cider combines the freshness of locally grown apples from Satakunta with the smooth sweetness of honey collected by the bees in Meggala’s own apple orchard. The nutrient-rich soils of Lauhanvuori–Hämeenkangas Geopark, ideal for growing fruits and berries, have their origins in the last Ice Age.

Hunaja Humina captures the flavours of the local landscape and the natural sweetness of its ingredients.
