The Aitoneva Environmental Trail introduces the species of bogs and forests in the recurring old peat production field. Signs of peat production is still visible in the landforms as large swampy basins and peat embankments bordering them. However, the vegetation has obscured the traces of the work and the landscape has slowly returned to a new kind of mosaic of swamp and forest. Along the trail there is an old peat production machine, a dragline excavator. The path follows dry peat ridges, the wet sections have duckboards.
The environmental trail is maintained by Neova Oy. The route is guided by route signs. The guide is complemented by the GPX trail found on Outdooractive.

After the information posts at the beginning of the path, continue to the left along the trail. The route winds along old peat production fields. After 500 m along the route there is a rest area with a table bench combination, a guest book and a small viewing platform. The route continues on, about 200 m away you reach the dragline excavator.
After exploring the excavator, the route winds along old peat production fields and basins until after about 500 m you return to the starting point.
