The Eurovelo 10 route runs along the west coast of Finland from south to north. There are connecting routes between the Geopark route network and Eurovelo 10 from Merikarvia to Siikainen and from Lappväärt to Karijoki. These make it possible to detour from the Eurovelo 10 route to the Geopark area routes or vice versa. This enables the combination of cycling routes so that a bike trip can be carried out, for example, from one railway station to another (Parkano, Pori, and Vaasa).
The connecting route from Merikarvia to Siikainen is a straightforward west-east oriented route that runs along a light traffic route and a paved road. Along the route in Tuorila, there is a traffic service center beside road 8, including services such as a service station.
Head northeast along Kauppatie on the light traffic route passing by the municipal office. Continue about 1 km until a T-junction, then turn right towards Siikainen. Continue along the light traffic route for 1.3 km, cross Merikarviantie and continue along the light traffic route for 5.6 km to Tuorila, where the light traffic route ends.
Follow Merikarviantie to the intersection with road 8. Cross road 8 and continue on Siikaistentie for 3.5 km until at the municipal border the road name changes to Tuorilantie. Continue it for 7 km until you reach Siikainen center.
