Connecting route Merikarvia - Siikainen
The Eurovelo 10 route runs from south to north on the west coast of Finland. There are connecting routes between the Geopark route and Eurovelo 10 between Merikarvia - Siikainen and Lappväärti - Karijoki. Along these one can deviate from the Eurovelo 10 route to the Geopark route or vice versa. For example, it is possible to combine bike routes to take a bike ride from one railway station to another (Parkano, Pori and Vaasa).
The connecting route from Merikarvia to Siikainen is a straight west-east route that runs along a cycle/pedestrian lane and a paved road. Along the route, there is a traffic service center along Road 8 in Tuorika.

Plan your trip
Continue on Merikarviantie to the 8th road junction. Cross Road nr. 8, and continue on Siikaistentie for 3.5 km until the name of the road at the municipal border changes to Tuorilantie. Continue for 7 km until you reach the center of Siikainen.
Bus connections to Merikarvia and Siikainen, bicycle transportation must be agreed in advance at Matkahuolto.
