Memoria artwork in Kankaanpää

The Memoria work from 1995 by Pertti Mäkinen and Reijo Paavilainen.

The monumental series of architectural fragments such as a gate, a broken column and a wall. The environmental work of the artwork was carried out by sculptor Ilpo Heinänen in 1998 with funding from the City Center project.

According to the artists, the work breathes stagnant and universal time inside of stone that we all momentarily touch in the chain of generations.
