Niinisalo military cafe

The Niinisalo military cafe was built in 1940. The Niinisalo barracks area represents the architecture of the 1930s. Built in the spirit of ascetic functionalism, the modern garrison area was further developed in the 1940s and 1950s. The garrison area is a nationally significant built cultural environment and one of the cultural sites of the Lauhanvuori - Hämeenkangas UNESCO Global Geopark.

The Niinisalo garrison is part of the Pori brigade and the garrison area is closed to outsiders. However, the military cafe is outside the garrison gates and is also open to visitors.
