Circle of Art

The Circle of Art consists of more than a hundred pieces of works of art that have been created through the cooperation of the art school, the town and the art association. During events, the Cirle of Art can be experienced on guided walking and/or cycling tours. It is easy to walk around the Circle of Art even on your own. You can get the brochure from, e.g. in the Kankaanpää city library, the Kankaanpää sports center and Kahvila-Konditoria Postelli on the edge of the market square.

There are three Circel of Art info panels in the town center. The nameplate of the route is a concrete tile with a steel logo installed on the street pavement. The tiles are sponsored by companies and communities and the name of the donor is engraved on the surface of the logo. The proceeds are used to finance the restoration of the works. Dice strips and stone bollards also help to identify the route in the urban area. The names of the works of art and the artists can be found engraved on the tiles near the works. Information about the works is also available digitally via the Circle of Art website.
