Copper coin stone, Siikainen

You can find copper coin stone (kuparirahakivi), which got its name from the plootu money (copper currency) along Hirvijärventie. The coins minted in 1734 had been hidden in a rock hole on the shore of Lake Lavasjärvi during the Great Wrath.

In the Great Wrath Finland was part of Swedish Empire where Russia was creating invasion and subsequent military occupation of Finland. Plootu is a copper coin used in Sweden between 1644 and 1777.
