The farm of Haapajärvi
In the Haapajärvi farm, you can rest in an old gray log cabin, which was last inhabited in the 1980s. Structures, objects, posters placed on the walls and traditional plants in the yard tell the history of the farm. The house is suitable for short stays. There is a dry toilet in the yard (you should bring your own toilet paper).

By roadThe farm can be reached both along the hiking trail between Katselmankallio and Haapajärvi farm (approx. 4 km) and via Herranmetsäntie. At the end of the road, park in the yard of a deserted house and continue your trip with muscle power. The farm is a couple of kilometers from the parking lot. For the wettest time, you should choose rubber boots. The track is not plowed in winter, but the farm, depending on the snow situation, can be reached on skis or also on foot.
