Kolmentuulenlakki (Three Winds Cap)

Kolmentuulenlakki (The Three Winds Cap) consists of sand. It is a triangular hill around which the flow of water has consumed the land away. Its slopes are steep and it rises about 20 meters higher than its surroundings. The level summit area represents the original ground level of the area. The top can be reached from two directions along the path.

In the past, the villagers in the area used to celebrate Midsummer at the top of Kolmentuulenlakki, where there was room for dancing on the plateau. The landscape was more open in the past, today the rugged trees of the top area obscure the views towards the Hyypäjoki Valley, which opens to the north. The nearby views of the forest surrounding Kolmentuulenlakki are great.
