Parkano Church

The church and cemetery were inaugurated in 1805. The altarpiece of the church was painted by Henrik Grönlund from Urjala in 1839. The first organ was purchased for the church in 1894. In 1949, the church's second organ was inaugurated. The organ of the church in Hiitola, which was evacuated to Parkano as a result of the wars, was used to build it. The current organ was completed in 1977. The organ has 21 voices and was built by Urkurakentamo Hans Heinrich from Maksamaa.

The 33 meter high granite bell tower next to the church was built in 1889. The bell tower was designed by the architect Jac. Ahrenberg and constructed by master builder David Lönroth. There are two bells of which another from 1820 cast in Stockholm urges its listeners: "Let's call the Lord".
