The lean-to shelter of the Forest museum of Parkano
Near the Forest Museum, on the shores of Kaidatvedet, there is a lean-to shelter and a fireplace in a magnificent lake landscape.
In addition to the museum buildings, the area has a toilet and a sauna, as well as a two-kilometer-long Kustaa the Elk's nature trail for children. There is also access to the a longer Käpykintukka hiking trail.
The City of Parkano is responsible for the buildings and hiking services of the Forest Museum.

By roadFrom Vaasantie, highway 3, turn onto Järvisuomentie 23 and after 1 km turn right onto Rännärinmuseotie. It is 1.1 km drive to the Forest Museum car park. The lean-to shelter can be reached through the Forest museum area and along the duckboard.
