The ring route takes you to the villages and around lakes of the northern part of Siikainen. The route runs on quiet paved roads and gravel roads. The route starting from the church village of Siikainen runs clockwise and goes around the landscapes of Lake Siikaisjärvi via Merikarvia's Lauttijärvi to Leppijärvi, Pyntäinen and Sammi, and from there back to Siikainen via Vuorijärvi and Hirvijärvi. It is also possible to halve the route between Pyntäinen and Siikainen.

Along the route there is a guidance to the Katselmankallio site in Haapakeidas area.

Turn-by-turn directions

Turn onto the pedestrian/cycle path along Hirvijärventie, cross Tuorilatie and continue on the pedestrian/cycle lane on the left side of Lauttijärventie for about 1 km. At the end of the cycle lane, go to Lauttijärventie and continue for about 9 km. Then at Lauttijärvi turn right onto Leppijärventie and continue for about 14 km. On this section, after about 8 km in Leppijärvi there is a signposted connection to Katselmankallio on the left side of the road. Distance to there is about 4 km.

Leppijärventie ends at the T-junction in Pyntäinen. Turn right and after the Samminjoki bridge, turn left at the T-junction. Turning to the right, it is possible to halve the route by driving Siikaistentie back to Siikainen, about 7 km. However, the route continues to the left, continue on Siikaistentie for about 10 km to Sammi, where you turn right onto Marjamäentie. After about 700 m you reach the T-junction, turn right onto Hirvijärventie.

Continue on Hirvijärventie for about 14 km to Siikainen Church. The church is on the left side of the road. After exploring the churchyard, continue for about 600 m to the center of Siikainen, where the route ends.

By roadFrom highway nr. 8, turn in the direction of Kankaanpää and Siikainen in Tuorila, drive about 10 km to the center of Siikainen, where you turn right onto Hirvijärventie and immediately right into K-Market Vestoris yard.

From Pohjanmaantie (44), turn west from the Honkajoki roundabout to Siikaistentie and drive about 21 km to Pyntäinen, turn right and continue for about 7 km to the center of Siikainen, where you turn left to Hirvijärventie and immediately right to K-Market Vestoris yard.

From Highway 23, start north of Pomarkku along Kivijärventie (2600) for 15 km and turn left at the T-junction at Lilja yarn store onto Leväsjoentie. Drive 12 km and turn right onto Tuorilantie. After 3 km you will reach the center of Siikainen. Turn right onto Hirvijärventie and immediately right onto K-Market Vestoris yard.

From the direction of Kankaanpää, take road 44 north to Ala-Honkajoki for about 8 km, where you turn left towards Siikainen. Continue 30 km to the center of Siikainen, where you turn left onto Hirvijärventie and immediately right into the yard of K-Market Vestori.
