The trail includes several side trails and plenty of structures in Teuva, Karijoki and Kristiinankaupunki. The trails offer plenty of interesting details and entertaining scenery, even though the trails run through commercial forests. You will see stonefields shaped by ice age, gorges, rock walls, groves and multidiversity flora of swamp areas. You will find along the trail:
The surroundings of Kakkorinvuori, Peurajärvi, and Susiluola offer interesting details. Kakkorinvuori has an observation tower, a hut, and nature signs.
Finland's largest cave has been discovered near Susiluola where the objects made by Neanderthal man 120,000 years ago were found. It is the oldest known place of residence in the Nordic countries. You can also peek into Susiluola - through the fence.
Karijoki, the trail starts right near the center.
Teuva, from the center it is about 9 km to Parra and about 5 km to Pappilankangas.
Kristiinankaupunki: The unique Pyhävuori area is located approx. 15 km northeast of the center of Kristiinankaupunki. There five mountain peaks rise clearly above the flat Ostrobothnia. The route of the ancient mountains also starts from the end of Kristiinankaupunki.

Teuva: Pappilankangas ski lodge is one of the starting points of the route.
Karijoki: you can leave for the route next to the downtown school in Pappilankuja.
Kristiinankaupunki: The area of Pyhävuori, which is located about 15 km northeast of the center of Kristiinankaupunki.
