Ruskalaavu lean-to shelter
Ruskalaavu is a great break for those travelling on Pirkan ura trail. It is about 10 km from Viidentienristeys, Jämi on the other hand is another 6 km from the site. The shelter has a firewood supply, a drinking water well and an accessible toilet. The site is also easily accessible by road.
Hämeenkangas is a training area for the Defense Forces, which is why training troops may move in the area. Current information on exercises and possible restrictions on movement please contact the Defense Forces, tel. (02) 99 800.
