Puolipirkka lean-to shelter
Puolipirka lean-to shelter is suitable as a resting place for travelers on the Pirkan ura trail. The shelter has a campfire ring and space for sitting. It is not suitable for overnight stays. There is no firewood supply or toilet. The site is maintained by the municipality of Hämeenkyrö.
Next to the shelter there is the 30th anniversary monument of Pirkka skiing, erected in 1984.

By roadOn foot, by bike or skiing along the Pirkan ura trail from the direction of Niinisalo or Tampere, the lean-to shelter is in the halfway of the route.By car along Vasuntie to the Hämeenkyrö airfield. There is a parking space at the eastern end of the airfield and a short walk to the shelter.
