Kärkikeidas day hut

Kärkikeidas day hut is an open hut where you can stop for a break and eat snacks. The hut has been renovated from an old forest cabin. In the past, locals travelling in Lauhanvuori needed shelter, e.g. on hunting and berry picking trips. Therefore, several small cabins were built in the area, which served as bases for excursions. Kärkikeidas day hit serves the users of the National Park trails, especially the Terassikierros trail, the Geobike mountain bike trail and the skiing tracks. The hut has a dry toilet and firewood. There is a fireplace and a simple wooden platform bed.
