Vaarinnevankeidas mire nature trail

Distance 2,8 km
Duration 0h 40min

The Vaarinnevankeidas mire nature trail is an easy-to-navigate route whose wet sections are equipped with duckboards. The trail presents the typical raised bog landscape typical to margins of Hämeenkangas. The nature can be experienced with the help of artworks created by the Kankaanpää art school. The approximately 2.8 km long route starts from the parking area located along Kyrönkankaantie, from where the transition section to the edge of the bog is about 600 m. The trail on the bog is equipped with duckboards and the forested island in the middle of the bog has a picnic area equipped with a combination of tables and benches. Another similar picnic stop is at the information point on the edge of the swamp. The route and service structures are maintained by Metsähallitus.
