Along this challenging, accessible trail, you’ll find a campfire site, a lean-to, a viewing platform, an easy-to-walk boardwalk, and a medieval road. There is an accessible restroom at the trailhead, and next to the Salomaa shelter, there is a well and a firewood shed. The trail and its facilities are maintained by Metsähallitus Nature Services.
The return trip follows the same route: continue about 450 m south along the boardwalk and then 250 m along the old road to the trail junction, from where the trail continues straight ahead along the old road for about 500 m to the Salomaa parking area, the trail’s starting point.
