From the parking area, follow the route signs towards Vaarinnevankeidas. After about 250 m, turn left and continue about 300 m to the dune rising by the edge of the mire, where there is an info point and a resting spot. From the resting spot, continue straight onto the mire; the boardwalk begins at the edge of the mire. After about 800 m of boardwalk, you reach a forest island with a resting spot. From the forest island, the route returns to the mire and continues along the left-side boardwalk for about 500 m back to the edge of Hämeenkangas, where the path continues to the right following the edge of the mire until it returns to the previously mentioned resting spot. Return to the parking area is about 550 m along the same route as on the way in.
