Käskyvuori Nature Trail

From the parking area, walk past the signs and turn left toward Pyhäniemi. Continue for about 50 m, then turn right. Follow the trail through varied forest terrain for about 600 m until you reach a trail junction. Take the left fork, which leads about 150 m to the edge of the open Käskylamminneva, where you’ll find a table and bench for a rest stop. From the edge of the bog, head back to the trail junction, then turn left and follow the trail heading north through varied forest terrain. About 300 m away, you’ll reach a trail junction at the municipal border. On the left is a sign explaining the history of the bog’s drainage. From the sign, continue up the trail toward the summit of Käskyvuori, which rises to the east. The trail winds upward through rocky terrain that is moderately difficult in places but becomes easier higher up. After about 600 m, you’ll reach the summit of Käskyvuori, which offers a wide range of amenities. After taking in the views from the summit, continue along the boardwalk leading from the fire pit past the accessible rest area P, past the dry toilet, and along the trail leading to Pyhäniemi, back to the starting point—the parking lot at the end of Käskyvuorentie.
